Evangeline rubbed a hand through her tangled blond tresses, her other hand flying to her mouth to stifle a yawn. She had been so rudely awakened by her father banging on her door, for some idiotic reason yet to be determined. After about the twelfth knock, Evangeline had groaned herself awake far enough that going back to sleep was not an option. She managed to stand up steadily, yawning once more. She stretched comfortably before storming out of her room. Her father called after her, saying something about the trash, but she ignored him.

That's all she really did nowadays. Ever since his stupid blowout about Angel, Evangeline had no patience for her father. The whole thing was stupid and she would have nothing to do with Harry until he saw the error of his ways. Of course, this was Harry Potter she was talking about. A stubborn, hard-headed jerk, who only cared about his pride. And he wondered why he had a pregnant daughter on the streets and a teenager as rebellious as he was when he was a child. Apparently he was quite the rebel, according to Ginny. Evangeline didn't believe her in the slightest.

Evangeline made it to the table safely, retrieving the milk and cereal from the cupboard. As she reached the cabinet where the bowls and spoons were, Harry came storming in. Evangeline merely drowned out his chatter as she calmly poured herself breakfast, then reach across the counter to prepare a cup of cocoa. Her hand reached the bright green mug as Harry screeched "Evangeline Adele Potter! Stop ignoring me!" Evangeline raised her eyes to her father, shook her blond hair absently, then turned back to her breakfast.

James shuffled his feet downstairs, he had been woken up by his father banging on Evangeline's door, which was quite odd. He had never known Harry to do such a thing. James pulled a t-shirt over his bare chest as he descended the stairs, and then made his way into the kitchen where he grabbed last night's leftovers. He sat down with the chili and a spoon without heating it just as his father barked at Evangeline.

Evangeline ignored her father's demands and complaints as she sat down across the table from James. "Morning James." she replied with a smile, then dug her spoon into her cereal. She smiled a bit wider as Harry winced at James' chili. He hated when her brother did that. Harry caught her laughing and growled, mumbling something incoherent as he left for work. Evangeline blew out a heavy sigh as he shut the door, relaxing her posture and slumping down in her seat. She took another bite of her breakfast, using her free hand to smooth out the tank top she was using as a nightshirt.

James swallowed a mouthful of cold chili and then looked to Evangeline once his father had left the room. "Don't raise a panic about this," said James. "But when I went to visit Angel yesterday, she wasn't there, and I found this on the coffee table." He pulled the note out of his pajama pocket and placed it on the table, then returned to his cold chili, giving Evangeline the time to read it to herself silently.

Dear James, Eva, and Alex,

I have been well hidden due to my position as being a target in this war. Do not look for me, for you will not be able to find me. I will try to get as much contact in as I can, but I am forbidden to exchange letters by owl in case our communications are intercepted. Talk to Alex about her mirror if you ever need to speak with me, she'll know what I am talking about.

Evangeline took the letter, her blue eyes scanning the paper carefully. Her heart leaped at the fact her sister was now hidden. The O'Malley's doing no doubt. She folded up the letter and placed it back on the table. She didn't say anything, taking a bite of her cereal and letting the news sink in. Then she realized something. Did Alex have a way to communicate with Angel? Now she was curious, but she wasn't about to jump up and down at that news. She wasn't sure it was what she thought it was.

"I have no idea what she was talking about with Alex's mirror," said James with a frown after returning to his unheated leftovers. "Do you?" James supposed that they would just have to ask Alex whenever she decided to join them. It was odd, having no notice whatsoever that his elder sister would be taken somewhere, but if Angel were being hidden, it had to be for good reason, he wasn't sure what made her vulnerable right now.

Evangeline shook her head. "Not a clue." she replied. She turned back to her breakfast, realizing she didn't have an appetite left. It was now painfully obvious that Angel, if not all of the Potter's, were targets for whatever reason, like last time. The thought wasn't absolutely terrifying, but it was a bit unnerving. Her insides curled tightly together as she pushed her half-eaten breakfast away from her. Her eyes traveled absently around the room, mind reeling. She wasn't sure what to think of the situation at this point. Nobody seemed to be panicking as of late, which was good. But how long would that last?

"I don't suppose anyone ever can get sleep around here, anymore," Alex muttered grumpily as she came into the kitchen, passing her father in the hallway by the stairs. He had seemed upset; it was no doubt something to do with Evangeline ignoring him again. Alex nodded to her siblings as she plopped down at the kitchen table, not feeling particularly hungry just yet.

"Morning Alex," said James after swallowing his mouthful of leftovers. He, unlike his sisters, had a monstrous appetite in spite of current events, it was just a "guy thing." He was fourteen, going through his growth spurt finally, he needed a lot of food to fuel it. James continued attacking his chili with almost enthusiasm, food was perhaps the best stuff on the surface of the entire planet.

Evangeline turned in her chair to see Alex groggily entering the room. She smiled gently. "Sorry sis." she replied with a grin before turning back to the table. She was silent for the duration of Alex's entry, watching James. It seemed as if his appetite were growing as of late, and he seemed to be attracted to eating the strangest of things. She shrugged herself back to conscious thinking. Her brother's eating habits weren't really a concern as of right now.

"So, what were you two talking about?" Alex asked once she had accepted her sister's apology and woken up for a moment. Alex's eyes hovered on James' breakfast and couldn't resist a slight chuckle of amusement. Her brother never failed to entertain when it came to his eating habits.

James swallowed an overlarge bite of chili before answering Alex. "Well, Angie's been hidden for whatever reason," said James, putting down his spoon. "But the note she left said something about your mirror with talking to her, she said you'd know what she was talking about." He then returned to his food, shoveling it down as if his life depended on him doing so. James awaited Alex's reply to what he had said.

Alex was unsurprised that Angel had left some sort of note for her siblings, but was slightly surprised that she hadn't known about it until now. "Yeah, she gave me a two-way mirror," Alex said in a low voice, in case Harry was near. "Would you like to speak with her?"

"Maybe later, what with you-know-who," said James after finishing off what remained of his leftovers, and then getting up to rise out his dishes. Once he had cleared them of excess meat and sauce, he shoved them into the dishwasher. "Besides, it's a bit too early, don't you think?" James added. He certainly didn't want to wake up Angel if she were sleeping.

"Yes, I suppose it would be better to try to reach her in the afternoon," Alex replied with a shrug showing that it didn't really matter either way to her. She was itching to talk to her sister, though. Even before Angel had gone into hiding, Alex hadn't been able to see her much, being younger even than Hogwarts age. She missed her sister desperately, though, and was increasingly mad at her father.
